Very crowded. Our busiest time of year is late November to early January. Many families are there to experience a Disney Christmas. My recommendation: use fast pass and get there early (when the park opens). If you're staying at a Disney Resort, be sure to take advantage of Extra Magic Hours. Also, since you'll only be there four days, be sure to plan what you want to see...I guarantee you won't get it all in! If you've never been, the best park to do is Magic Kingdom...it's the center of it all, and there's much more for younger children there. They may also like to see the animals at Animal Kingdom. If you do make it over to Animal Kingdom, make sure you see the Fesitval of the Lion King...it is by far the best show at any of the four parks! You may also want to check out Finding Nemo, the Musical at Animal Kingdom, too. It's brand new, so make sure you get there early to beat the crowds. Good luck!

You should have a really good time meaning short lines when you go. We went last year about that same time period, and maybe we lucked out, but we had great weather and short lines! We did five days...one day at each park and one day hopping. We actually preferred the one day at each park instead of hopping. It just gave you more time to enjoy everything that park had to offer. My kids were 8 and 5 last year, and they were definitely able to keep up the entire time. You may have a tired little 4 year old, but I think they'll be having so much fun that it won't matter a bit if they're a little tired.

Have an awesome time! We just went for another 5 days in September and had a blast! We will definitely be going again next year :o)

I would think that would be a fair time as some school might not have let out yet for break. But with that age children, you might want to allow more time per park just in case it is crowded and they move a little slower, need more breaks and maybe even a nap. On the flip side, it is a great age! ENJOY - you will love it!
Hope the weather is good to enjoy a water park - I loved Blizzard Beach. And they will probably love DIsney more than EPCOT.

It will be a little crowded. People flock to Disney, particularly the Magic Kingdom, at the holidays because they decorate so spectacularly. Take advantage of Fast Passes, and get there early. Don't miss the Christmas Parade at Magic Kingdom and the Osborne Family Spectacle of Lights at MGM.

Crazy. Not only will there be many many out of state tourists coming to get out of the cold but all the locals will be out of school or looking to take vacation before the holiday vacation. Aside from the kids having to wait in line longer, they should be good. The weather should be nice at least by midday but all other people know this too and will be out at that time too.

There will be so many people that all the parks will be filled. As a former employee of a theme park, its known as a black-out time; employees aren't able to take vacation or paid-time off because they need the full workforce to handle the guests.

I live 30 minutes from Disney world........and I think it is a good time to go when the kids down here are in school.....the weather is not so stinking hot and the lines arent as long. There is a book available in book stores and the library that give any kind of info you need about Disney......it is updated every year. One advice I would give is to stay ON PROPERTY.....it is safer and you don't have to deal with traffic........the traffic is terrible if you have to come and go every day. If you stay at one of the many places on disney property there is all kinds of transportation offered to guests.

We went around this time last year, and at the beginning it was okay, but by the end it got pretty crowded. Those are good ages, so you should be able to deal with it okay. A better time is when the kids are in school, of course. They say the middle of January is great, and the weather is usually okay, too.

I've been to Disney for the past nine years straight....that is a terrible time to go, unless you like LONG lines and your kids will never get on all of the rides. After asking one of their "cast members"...the best time for no lines and great deals is right after New Years but before President's Weekend. Have a magical day!

It relies upon on which section you decide directly to be nearer too. in case you decide directly to be nearer to Magic Kingdom, i'd propose the Polynesian. in case you decide directly to stay close to Epcot and Hollywood Studios, each and all the inns close to that section are suited (Yacht and sea coast club, Swan and Dolphin, Boardwalk) there is likewise the Animal Kingdom lodge that's one in each and every of Disney's extra moderen inns. those are purely a number of Disney's Deluxe inns. you additionally can verify Disney's average inns (like Coronado Springs and Caribbean sea coast) that are smaller and not close to absolutely everyone park in maximum circumstances.
