are you sitting comfortably.. then i will begin.
the wife and i split 7 months ago, I moved out of my house leaving her and my 2 children there,
she worked at my tattoo shop as a piercer and i allowed her to come and get ALL her stuff from the shop. she went back to work in her mums shop as a piercer and employed a tattooist to try to rival me..LOL. he is rubbish, that i do not mind.
the thing is. i cannot see my children, she will not allow it. her family have issued death threats, which were recorded on my CCTV and given to the police. my dad 3 weeks ago payed for me to fly to australia to see my uncle before he dies and whilst there she broke in to my shop and emptied it. she signed a statement that she has nothing to do with the business 6 months ago, yet the police helped her break in to MY shop "im a sole trader" and take my all "even my accounts and appointments book" the police have admitted their mistake but are not proceeding with anything... what can i do? before you listen to peoples opinions, first you need to seek the advice of a good solicitor. Surely these sort of actions are wrong & if she had signed a statement then she must of mislead the police into helping her? This is theft, the police are aware of it & should be pressing charges. If you have recorded death threats then why are the police doing nothing? This stinks!!!! & the police ask for our support, what a joke! As usual the criminal prospers while the tax payer gets even more pissed off!!!!!!!! Good luck buddy, sorry if this offends you but this girl & her family sound like the scum of the earth that is all too common these days!
For godsake! Who's side are the police on? Your the victim & YOU spend the night in the cells????? You deffinately need to take this further.

You need to speak to your solicitor about an injunction against her. Her behaviour is unbelievably childish. The theft of the things from your shop may be criminal, even though she duped the police into aiding and abetting her. Maybe the police could be persuaded to take action against her for "wasting police time" or something similar. Further, you could seek compensation from the police. Get in touch with your MP and local councillors and let them know about this incident. They may be able to pack some punch and press for some kind of penalty against this silly woman. As for her "not allowing you" to see your children - if you are determined you can keep dragging her back to court again and again and again over this. Get a defined contact order. If she flouts it, especially repeatedly, the evidence will pile up until you have a stronger case for asking the court to let the children live with you instead of her. That's called "residence" by the way, not custody.

1 Keep a written record of everything thats happening,
2 Get a solicitor and take your mate with you for support!
3 Insist that the solicitor instructs your wife that you want to see your children and dont stop asking!!!!!
4 Make sure you dont get drawn into any confrontations with your wife as this might be used against you later by her solicitiors.
5. Make regular finacial provision for your children...no doubt she will take you to the CSA sooner or later.
Good Luck

It sounds like you have had a lucky escape althouh i know there are children envolved and no matter what you do this must never be forgotten. If i was you i would get solicitors envolved but remember bitching about her or slagging her off will cause trouble with the kids. But they also see there mothers behavior and one day will understand that its not the norm and respect you for being the biger man. Divorce is never pretty but its not just about you and your wife.

i'd see what you can get from the police first (through a lawyer), if they've admitted their mistake you might be entitled to compensation?

know it's prob really hard to do but i'd avoid taking futher action with your ex until you have to - she's still got your children and she's not going to make things easy for you there especially if you're taking (understandable) action against her...

hope it all works out for you x

Go to the crown court. If the police aren't doing their jobs properly people need to know.

I do not have a wife, and thank god for that, I do not like to share my stuff and women tend to "borrow" things without asking.
