Using windows xp, is there a simple way of checking if my ink cartidges are full? I seem to remember someone doing this before and seeing a graph appear on the screen, telling them how much ink was in the cartridge. They did'nt have to physically remove the cartridge from the printer. I tried a test page and all I got was black font, so I know that the black cartridge is ok.
Thanks

If you add the printer model and your operating system to this question, you should get better answers!

Most printer programs will show you the levels in their troubleshooting screen.

Sometimes accessed by Control Panel > Printers & Faxes >

*your printer* >

(right click to) Printing Preferences >

When you come to print, a graph of the ink should appear on the bottom right od your screen, this tells you how much ink you have left, also, a reminder comes up on your screen telling you which ink is low and needs changing. Hope this helps

Using windows 2000/Epson 320 Photo/Continuous Ink System I just look at the bottles at the side of my printer (clear bottles) Each bottle = 45 carts, about three pounds worth. no worries.
