When shopping, would you get better deals during Christmas or Thanksgiving?

during christmas you'll get better deals cuz the stores are trying to get rid of everything. during thanksgiving is when they first start doing sales, but during xmas is when the sales start to end

There are more sales the weekend before Christmas, if you don't mind buying things nobody else wanted. Further, the quality and quantity of goods is not the same and you may have to put up with long lines. However, the day after Christmas sales are legendary to stock up on X-Mas goods for next year. Again, most of the things are things nobody else wanted.

Most retailers will do a major sale December 20-24. When I was working retail, the best prices of the year (where I worked) were actually the Wednesday before Thanksgiving.
