It's all about trust, my man. Does she trust you to remain faithful if you go out without her? Would she have any reason not to? To keep everybody on an even keel, I would recommend going with your guy friends, and not alone or with female friends. Also, make sure she knows you are going out without her (she might think you're "keeping secrets" from her if you don't) , and don't forget to take her out to other places, too.

Yes. I think you are wrong for going to a bar without her knowing that she is not yet 21. If you truely love her why cant you do something that the both of you can do together. What if it was the other way around and she was 21 and you were not do you think it would be ok for her to go to a bar without you? Think very hard before u make a decision to keep going without doing her.

I don't think it's wrong to go to a bar without her, unless you're going there to meet or talk to other women. Your girlfriend may be jealous or insecure about you going. Can't you go to a sports bar that is also a restaurant? You could have your beer and she could have Coke. This way you both win.

Nope. If she has a problem with it then she needs to learn to cope with the fact that she's involved with an older man. It's not fair to restrict you from fun like that. She'll get there eventually but til then she just needs to trust you and relax. As long as you aren't going every night and excluding her totally from your life it's fine. You both are entitled to your own guy and chick time.

I don't think you are so wrong. All couples need time to themselves also and as long as you aren't doing so nightly and are only going with a couple of your buddies I see no harm. But you don't want to be doing this every night or anything or you'll soon be discussing your ex-girlfriend.

she'll be able to join you soon enough
people have to be able to retain their own lives in a relationship as well as contribute to the relationship
just remember to behave while your at those bars and you should be ok
