if you are not bound to a lease then simply state your name, address and the date in which you will be vacating. If you have a lease and are trying to break it... GOOD LUCK! chances are it wont work.

I would be very careful if I were you, have a look at your lease and see how much notice you have to give. If you are on a two months notice, then it would be better if you stuck it out, because you will lose your deposit, if you are on a one months notice, then you should be ok. I left my accomodation early because I got a council house, and we lost our deposit, still, I would rather have lost that than the council house, so check things out before you do anything. GOOD LUCK!!!!

If you are month to month, a letter giving your 30 day notice is sufficient. But if you are on a lease, your gonna end up having to pay the term of it.
