Sometimes people ask "how do I get rid of rabbits from my garden for good", or moles, etc. I view Google as similar, you can get rid of it, but it will be back. It somehow downloaded a mult-megabyte desktop search facility onto my PC without me knowing, and proceeded to spend a huge amount of time cataloguing every file.
