See the question is are you getting the rims for style or speed?
If it's for style the biggest you should go are 19's. The best show cars push the envelope but don't go outta hand. Now for speed the best tuners push up to 18's that's so you can fit the performance brake kit with the 13 inch rotors. Now 16's are fine too; but you gotta consider running smaller tires to give your DC5 it's aggresive look, also, if Acura is placing bigger wheels as factory spec maybe you shouldn't go any smaller than that. If you go smaller it'll be like your building a lowrider, not a tuner car. Most tuners will tell you that is the "ricer" look.

I have an Acura Integra and the factory rims are 14 inches.
I bought 17 inch chrome "Boss" rims and it made it look sweet.
I looked at 16 inches and it didn't look as good as the 17 inch.
It's a personal preference I guess.
Check out American racing.com. You can select your type of car and the different sized rims to compare.

People who waste their time and money putting rims on their cars make me laugh at how incredibly pathetic they are.
