For all you dems out there?
Why is it that though you're all supposed to be so sophisticated, you do nothing but take shots at reps like me. Do something more meaningful with your lives like making an actually decisive decision or go to church. If Dems ran things we'd still be debating Iraq and half of you would say go while the other half said no and yet no one would take any real side on the matter. I am proud to say that though I'm an asthmatic, I still go to my local MC recruiter and will be enlisting in the corps in Dec. 2007 so I can actually do something for my country instead of complain about it. Instead of making comments about the way the country is run why don't you move to Canada?
---I want to respond to some of your criticisms.
1 I have to wait till 2007 so i can train, beating asthma aint easy.
2 I don't live in a vacuum. Reps may disagree take shots and everything else dems do but we only do it on the side. We save room on the plate for action/decision

We may still be debating the war in Iraq, which is the wrong war under false pretenses, but we would be in Afghanistan and fighting with a large coalition and getting the job done there. Instead we are fighting a two front war and losing on both sides. I am a Vet and I have to say that I dont complain about the country I just want what is best for the country. What are you going over there for, what exactly is the mission over there in Iraq, why are we in Iraq in the first place? I dont complain I just want honest answers and some accountability.

enlisting in the Marine Corps next December are you? Putting your enlistment on a lay away plan? Give us a break. With Asthma, you will be disqualified and classified 4-F.
Most democrats HAVE taken a stand. We are opposed to the illegal war in Iraq, and the senseless killing.
I go to Church every Sunday, thank you very much.
You see, many of us feel that the best way to serve this country is to speak the truth and present our grievances with the government (as guaranteed by the Constitution)... and we don't have to move to Canada.

1st I am a Veteran of this War on Terror. 2nd I am a Democrat and I was not the only one in my unit.
I am glad you are going to go serve our great nation. But, your rhetoric here is all wrong.
In your republican eyes. It is us the middle-class democrat that can not stand the WAR. I for one support the WAR.
As, to your 2nd point. I will agree: So if you all do it together when can my son expect allude emails. Foley did it. best start now.,

I am glad you are going into the service. There others will be able to make decisions for you. By the way, I thought you trained after you went into the service not before.

Ask yourself why the majority of vets in the congress are Dems? Ask yourself why the majority of iraq vets currently running for office are dems?
Dems aren't supposed to be "sophisticated". They are for the little guy, the unions, the workers, the poor and disenfranchised. get your facts straight.

what does going to church have to do with being a dem or rep??? debating iraq would have killed how many????? btw, i am not a dem. i am an american and consider myself a libertarian. i am for personal freedom and individual responsibility. that means i think for myself and make my own decisions. i don't blindly follow a politician or commercialized church.

You'll be surprised after you enlist to find that there are many Democrats serving in the military, as well as Republicans.
