It's the name of the two former owners that you had in previous replies above. I also watched a program on TV showing how they started and why they split up. Mr Q, after he left B&Q, bought part of Blockbusters and became 3 times richer, whereas Mr B didn't seem to do quite well and only opened a convenience shop somewhere. The program was about how a multimillionaire person thinks and what it takes to become one.

They are the initials of the name's of the two men who started the company. One of them decided to leave and lost all his money, where as, the other partner stayed in! He made his money and expanded the business.
