Stores at least in Washington aren't supposed to sell M rated games to people under 17. You can sue the store if they let them buy it. Or be a parent and monitor what your kids play. I mean it is your house!

So many people are up in arms about video games. The video game industry has literally played by their rules. I believe they have been the most responsible company when it came to children. They started their own rating system before the court could even start the case. If you want your kids to stop playing violent video games, then keep an eye on them and make sure they don't get a hold of these games. That is your duty as a parent, show some responsibility for a change.

This is an unfounded fear.

If truth be known, violent video games give most young people an
outlet for any anger they might have. It's only the few abnormal
young people who get into trouble because of video games,
comic books, violent movies and rock music.

Thank you very much, while you're up!!!!

Take the game away, that's why you are a parent, so you can let your kids know right from wrong.
If no one buys the most violent games, then they will no longer make them.
Stop trying to ban them, it only makes them look cooler to people with no smarts.

If you don't like it so much, why are your kids playing it? Just ban them from your house. Then you'll be taking care of your own business and won't have to worry about minding everyone else's.

what a ridiculous post... theliberal?
actually thee is some validity to the idea of a more defined rating system.. and the games themselves could offer "light" versions so the kids who have parents that care don't feel like they're missing out...
but your attempt at being stupid was a complete success

Forbid your kids from playing the game.

If it bothers you so much, grow some balls and sell their video game console. They'll hate you forever and spit on your grave when you die, but do it anyway because you are all about you.

Stop depending on the government to rule your life.

Uh...the raising of your children is up to YOU. Stop trying to slough off your responsibility to them. Banning books and media is not the American way.
