I'm speaking on behalf of my girlfriend, and myself.
We recently had sex for the first time, on Nov. 18th. I used a spermicidal condom, and there were no spills, or breakages. It only lasted two minutes because we were afraid. We had sex again on the 21st and the 24th. I used a condom again, and it didn't last long, and there were no breakages, or holes. I tested the last condom I used with water, and there were no holes.
I've also fingered her a few times, with no ejaculation or pre-ejaculate on my fingers.
What doesn't make sense is that her period hasn't come yet. We feel we did everything right. But just our luck, it isn't coming. She said her periods have been going in this order. Aug. 29 - Sept. 29 - Oct. 28 - Nov ? And usually it's every 28-30 days.
Should we be worrying? I mean, we had safe sex.
But at our age, we can't afford for pregnancy.
We have planned to get her on the pill on thursday, should we ask about a pregnancy test then?
What are the chances she is?
Thanks

no the chances of her being pregnant are about 0.5% its probably her worrying about nothing that is delaying her period besides its not even late yet give it another 10 days then test if no period. (btw the 0.5% is just my opinion so ignore it really its to illustrate the point)

Chances are that she ISN'T pregnant but accidents happen! You're doing right to take her to the clinic and, yes, tell them she's late and have them run a test to be sure. If that's negative and she still doesn't get it then retest in a week and call her doctor. But, the most likely cause here is that she's worried about being pregnant and that's causing the delay.
You could also get a home pregnancy test but it may not have been quite long enough for it to show up for a couple of more days. Hang in there and just remember that if you ARE going to have sex (and I won't lecture you....lol, you know you should wait) then make SURE SURE SURE to use a condom each and every time even if she's on the pill....pills don't always work and condoms can break but the 2 together is a good bet!

It sounds like you're being very careful and responsible, so the chances are that she's probably not pregnant. Did you always put the condom on before there was pre-ejaculate, and before you went inside her? If so, you should probably be okay.
It's a very good idea that she start taking the pill--it's almost 100% effective if she takes it about the same time each day. Also, when she goes to get the pill on Thursday, they will make her take a pregnancy test before she can get the pill. I would highly recommend the pill over the Depo-Prevera shots; even though you only get 4 shots a year, they make periods really irregular, and she may gain weight like mad.
Since you really don't want a pregnancy now, I suggest the pill and condoms.
All in all, sounds like you shouldn't worry too much. Be proud of yourself for being so responsible.
If, and this is a very rare IF,she is pregnant, find someone to talk to for help. They can help you make the best decision for both of you.
Good luck to both of you....I'll keep my fingers crossed.

Well this is a difficult question to answer because you are speaking on her behalf . The female body has many innuendos. But she could be experiencing stress from different causes , or she might have skip periods .You'll get it the first three months ex.jan, feb, mar, and it will skip for three months and you won't see it until July or August. If you say that everything went smooth than you have no worries . Why take a pregnancy test if everything was done right? But if there is a "if" she needs to take a test and you guys can take it from there. Stop wondering and just take the test

Stop worrying. I think you're stressing too much about it. She will probably get her period today or tomorrow. Just go to the doctor as planned. The doctor can usually tell during the exam if you are pregnant, the uterus is usually hard but it gets softer when you're pregnant. Ask the doc and he'll let you know if you should take a test or not.

The chances are very small that she's pregnant. If you are so concerned about pregnancy at your age and not being able to afford it, maybe you guys should hold off on sex for a little while until she's well onto the pill. Good luck.

The new stress of being sexually active is enough to make her late, but just to be sure, you will need to wait a few more days and take a test. If she is going to the doc for pills, they will tell her she cannot start them until after she has had a period.
Good luck!

Shes probably really stressed there for its not comming. But also losing your virginity can cause the period to become irregular. Have her take test. It should come out negative. If you did not ejaculate inside of her, and when you fingered her there was no sperm on your hand then there in NO WAY she is pregnant. Do not worry, take a test, relax. and contiue to have safe sex.

Well, it's possible, sperm are very dedicated little guys, but it sounds like you were safe. Sometimes the stress of worrying about being pregnant can cause her to have a late/missed period. Calm down and take a test a week from now to calm your nerves.
