great question...i was thinking of re-doing my room...i'll go for a 'shabby chic' or 'gypsy/bohemian' theme...with dark slinky drapes in deep jewel tones, lotsa beads n baubles, some scented candle blocks, animal print cushions, some black sheets with a matching DIY netting over the bed made of sheer black fabric (u can fix it urself to the ceiling), and even a mini chandelier/ or an ethic hanging indian lamp from the thrift shop...and also having my room painted a russet orange shade...that would be real hot!
Right now it's all pink, girly, flowery...and messy...lol....

Yeah. Almost all the rooms of the house have a theme, except the bedrooms. Never really thought about why.
Living room is beach/ocean. TV room is alpine lodge. Kitchen is grapes and wine. Bathroom is lilacs.

Not really. I prefer my eclectic style of crapola. I don't have cat hair like someone else mentioned but I have a lot of Sheltie hair. Boy, does that dog have a ton of hair. I used to have a Red Wings themed family room but now I have a more normal looking room highlighted by the photo wall my husband created which is awesome. He made rails to put frames on and it is soo cool!

Nothing to my living room, just comfort.
But for my bedroom I am redoing it this next month in a Tuscan theme: orange walls, white bedding, rod iron. It's going to be beautiful!!

I'm trying to do a modern victorian style in my living room, and my kitchen is roosters from Home Interiors...my bathroom is kinda like a greek style

hehehehehehehe - Baby's Mom, you killed me!!!! I had 3 long haired cats (they all died from old age so I had them a long, long time) and for awhile, I couldn't do anything without being covered in cat hair. I went through 4 vacuum cleaners in 20 years.
Now the theme is wolves and the outdoors!

In my bedroom I have all kinds of brown teddy bears, I love teddy bears. And in my kitchen and dinning area I have sunflowers, they are my favorite flower.
