Have you every received Best Answer, and felt like you did not deserve it?

Did you ever give a lame answer on purpose, and get Best Answer out of it?

I don't know how that feels because I've never recieved a best answer.LOL.

I do not intentionally give lame answers but I have received Best Answer and thought that other answers were better than mine. On the other hand i have NOT received a BA when I thought that mine was way better than the one chosen, too. it evens out.

sometimes i am suspicious that i may have been awarded Best Answer because i'm on a Y! 360 friends list and thus don't deserve the 10 points. I myself realize that i have a bias towards answers who are on my friends list. Sometimes i'll even go as far to message and ask but they always reassure me that i had the best answer. i answered "STFU" once on a friend's question just to test. No i didn't get best answer for that one

I never gave a lame answer, but on a couple of occassions, I felt someone else deserved it (whether they were there first with the best answer or they were more well-rounded with the answer)

I would say half of my best answers I didn't think I deserved, but some I thouhgt I did I did not get so I guess it works out in the end. Good question though.

i have never gotten a best answer from giving a lame answer. i do sometimes give sarcastic answers but i never get the best answers.

Yes I have. Once I gave a pretty harsh answer and the poster gave me best answer just so he could write back to me and dispute what I said. It was pretty funny.

No but sometimes I feel that I have given the best answer or someone else has and didn't recieve best answer.

Yes, one time I was given credit for another person's answer.
I felt bad about it but I didn't know what to do about it either.
Those were 10 undeserved points for sure.
