people who only come to class 4-5 times during the semester and somehow get the same (or better) grade as you! HOW, WHY?

I hate it when I go to a crowded lecture and everyone is sitting in the aisle seats when they know that other students are going to be coming. Then, when I have to squeeze through to get to the seats in the middle they act like they're annoyed. Well why don't they just sit in the middle in the first place!
And also, I hate it when there are still a few minutes left and everyone starts putting their stuff away. It gets so noisy that I can't hear the professor. It's so rude!

People who are too lazy/stupid to come to class, wasting everyone else's time be asking questions on things we covered 3 days ago. Classes that are required for certain majors, but are only offered once in the year, or at conflicting times w/other required courses. Insanely high prices at the cafe: 4.99 for a ham sandwich?! Lastly, profs who assign massive projects the day before break. I had 7 over turkey day, so my 4 days "off" weren't really spent with family.

Don't be jealous, jenivive.

My pet peeves are power-hungry RAs, professors with attendance requirements, and drunk freshmen.

- Drunk freshman
- People who ask the same question and/or too many questions in class.
- People that talk to one another all the time in class.
- Kiss ups. Enough said.
- Neighbors who smoke, are too loud, or are otherwise unpleasant.

Group projects. I hate them. Hate them. HATE THEM. This is MY education, damnit!! I am paying for it, and I do not want someone else's lack of ability, lack of work ethic or general apathy to adversely impact my grade, nor do I want my work to impact someone else's grade (particularly when I end up doing a lot of it). If a project has group work, it should be OPTIONAL.

I should also clarify -- even if someone has a good work ethic, it should be OPTIONAL for anyone to choose to work with someone else and we should be able to choose with whom we work (if anyone). I don't want to be forced to rely on anyone else's work, even if they do good work, and vice versa.

I know the "reasoning" is that we have to deal with group projects in the real world, but my argument is that I already do that in my job in the "real world". When it comes to my education, it should be MY decision.
