Africans captured and sold other Africans to Arab slavers from about 1000 up to about 1900; shipped north from West Africa to the Sahara regions.....If you mean in the Americas:.in West Africa, Africans sold other Africans to Portuguese Spanish and English slave traders from about 1520 to 1847........85% of the African slaves were sold to what is now Brazil, not to what is now the USA.......England and the USA outlawed the shipping of slaves from Africa in 1847; slavery was abolished in the USA in 1863.

On the east coast of Africa, slaves were sold ( once again, by Africans) to Arab traders right up to the 1980's.........some claim it still goes on .....

Even George Washington and Thomas Jefferson had slaves. Slavery was prevalent from Virginia to Florida, to Texas.

All over the world at various times. It's still happening today in parts of the world.

depending on time-everywhere. it actually still occurs, even in the US. Though some countries are worse for it. in the US, slavery was most popular in the south where farms were.
