If by Scripture you mean the Bible, the term "Lion of Judah" is correct; but it doesn't occur in Genesis. I think some prankster has rearranged your Bible pages when you were sleeping; which is certainly something a kitten would do. Incidentally, 'kitten of dubious moral character' is a redundancy.
