Alive and still working...
Mickey Rooney is in the cast of the new Ben Stiller movie 'A Night at the Museum' and is in two films and one TV movie in production.

No, he is 86 years young and still kicking.
As of 2006, Rooney continues to work in film, and tours with his wife, Jan Chamberlin, in a multi-media live stage production called "Let's Put On a Show!" Few actors have enjoyed their careers more. Rooney has said in many interviews that from his earliest stage work to his current projects, "I've loved it. I've loved every minute of it!"
Currently, he and his wife live in the Conejo Valley in Southern California.

No he's still alive. He's working on a film that he's doing a cameo in called Horrorween and will be out in 2007.

According to web site listed below, he was still alive as of Sept. 2006. Anyone who thinks he has died since then have a reference for their info,please?
