Just find a brand of jeans that fits your butt and legs and have them altered for a couple of bucks.
Banana Republic, Gap and Old Navy have short jeans and petite sizes, so you shouldn't have any problems.
All the designer jeans come in about 34-35 inch inseam, so we all have to have them altered.
Good luck.

I have the same problem the jeans that I like the best that seem to fit me well and are usually a good size are angels jeans. Also I just bought some office pants at New York and Company and they come in petite sizes and they are really nice they fit me very well they are only about an inch too big for me. What are also in are cropped pants and jeans and you can wear them with a boot it looks really cute and they are never too long on me.

I'm short also. I suggest American Eagle, you can get nice short sizes there. Also, I'd try Kohl's if you have one near you. Sometimes you can find nice pants. Lastly, Old Navy and Thrift Stores. I recently found that I CAN find really great pants at Thrift Stores and the last time I went I got 3 pairs of jeans that fit for $12... typically, I can't find one pair for $70 even.

Well being as small as you are you might be able to find some jeans in the young girls section of a store or maybe somewhere like Aeropostale that has sizes like long regular and short.

Hmm. First thing that comes to mind is Old Navy and Lucky Brand Jeans.
But for your issue, I suggest going to Nordstroms. They have evry single size. Just get a "short" size.
EG: 3 short instead of 3 reg or 3 long/tall

I have the same exact problem as you do, im only 5'2 and 100 lbs and the only pair of pants that ever fit me well were from delias but they are about $40 a pair. you can also get good jeans at target sometimes but you might have to get them hemmed.
also mandees has length sizes.

well go shopping around first and find some jeans that atleast fit you around the waist and hips , if they are too long you can always get the himed . maybe try Steve and Barrys , they dont have a large selection , but there cheap and they fit my short sister.
