I am wanting to get into IT and doing programming or software development, but am very unsure if it is worth it as i have seen lots of jobs being outsourced. It seems more and more businesses are moving development and programming to other countries. The future does not seem so good and i am wondering if i should choose to do something else ?

You can't outsource networking because every company needs a network guy to make sure the connections with those outsourced jobs don't get cut!
