They always seem to get the blame when some old fart runs over 10 power-walkers on his way to pick up his glaucoma medication, or when some teenager runs a schoolbus off the road while listening to Kayne West. What gives?

Steering and/or gas pedal malfunctions are almost NEVER the cause of an accident. People are humiliated and traumatized after they realize they've severely injured someone. They blame anything that they can think of.
