Drew Brees is a very good candidate for the MVP trophy. Him winning is contingent on whether or not the Saints make the playoffs. His main competition seems to be from LT who is putting up ridiculous numbers this season. Brees doesn't even lead the league in TD passes and has twice as many picks as Peyton Manning. Not to mention that Manning's team is 10-1. Brees has a shot and is among the front runners, but a lot of factors would have to fall into place for him to win it.

probably not, unless the new orleans saints make a rather heavy playoff run. New Orleans also has one of the toughest remaining schedules in the NFL, making Drew's MVP candidacy somewhat flawed. Also, it would seem that Ladanian Tomlinson has a lock, seeing as how he is rewriting the record book for running backs this year. Still, there are enough weeks left for anything to happen.

Tomlinson will be the 2006 MVP, hands down. Drew will most likely be the NFC's MVP.

Favre is having a profession 12 months in an incredible profession. he's bigger the whole offense on a ten-one million group. you think of that they had have that record with Tarvaris Jackson taking the snaps? Johnson has stable numbers yet his group is below .500.

not unless somethin happens to peyton and LT to make it so they dont put up numbers (which wont happen) Brees does deserve recognition though.
