If you are having periods as normal now and ovulating then the contraception is not still affecting your fertility.
The only time this affects it is when you are not having periods or ovulating as normal.
However you should refer to your doctor generally after about 18 months of trying if you are still not pregnant for fertility tests.
You may want to purchase ovulation kits to make sure that you are ovulating.
Good luck

The chance of getting pregnant after stop using contraceptive pills is from the next cycle. So if are yet to conceive even after seven and a half months of stopping pills then there must be some gyneological problem in you and its better you consult a Pediatrist without any further delay. May be you used such Pills which are not compatible for you and you've developed some problem inside.
So don't waste any further time to consult your Physician.
