I AM 30 WEEKS IS THAT TO SOON TO HAVE ONE ??

Usually about a month before you deliver. That way if the mom-to-be has any complications or the baby is a little early...you are still OK. 30 weeks is not too early..but I think generally it is done a little later.

It all depends on you. I think it's pretty common to have one between 7 and 8 months. With my first, we had the baby shower not long after I found out the gender. . I was just into the 6th month. I don't think 30 weeks is too soon though, whatever you are comfortable with is what you should do. Congrats! :)

No, I dont think it is too soon. Often people like to wait long enough to find out what sex the baby is so people can buy gifts accordingly. I went into labor early and was in the hospital giving birth the day of my shower. My friends just had it for me anyway.

It's really up to you but I know someone that wants there shower as soon as they find out what there going to have so they will still have time and money to buy whatever else they didn't get from the shower.

It is totally up to you and the people/person planning your shower event. It is customary to have a shower 4-6 weeks prior to your baby's due date. That way odds are for everything working out in your favor as far as the health of your pregnancy.

It all depends...you can def. have one now. I am 20 weeks, and am having my first on January 15. I am due in April...but I have to have three and one is very far away so no traveling after March 1 for me (I am high risk) so I have to have mine early. Really it is up to you...I dont know. I dont think I will be in the celebrating mood two weeks before I deliver. I will think you would be miserable and I want to enjoy my time with my friends and family!!!

No, 30 weeks is not too soon. I always had mine around 7 mos.

I will be 31 weeks at mine, we tried to plan around Christmas and the fact that I could go into labor any minute (pre-term labor sucks). You figure you have 8 weeks left, I would say that is a good time to have yours.

All the ones I have been to were 1-2 months before the due date, but I suppose you can have it whenever you want!
