Are you in the military? If so your dependent would be listed on your orders.

If not, a birth certficate should list you as the parent. If the father was also on the birth certificate you may have more of a problem. If you have not been to court to establish custody, they may view you as kidnapping your child.

Would need more detail to say for sure but if the father is on the Birth Certificate you may have to file court documents for custody or maybe a notarized letter may work??? Check with the US Embassy in Kuwait.

As for a document saying you've never been married, not sure there is such a thing. Just because you have not been married in one state does not mean you weren't marrried in another. You would need proof from all 50 states saying you haven't been married???

I don't believe I would take my child to Kuwait, or any mideast country at this time. The beliefs are different than ours and being in another country no telling what could happen. At least visit yourself then check it out before you take your child. You should be able to get paper work from the captial which the child was born. I can understand a document to show you were married, but haven't heard of anything to prove you have never been married. The birth certificate of the child should state that tho. In America you don't need to prove custody unless there was a battle between you and the father. You see in the mideast fathers have custody of the children. So be careful!

Hi there, i think if you have both of a passport with a visa to Kuwait, there's no need to be worried, unless they've asked you a certificate non married status as a document to have a visa then you have to see with the embassy of Kuwait.
I hope it'll bring you a little help.
