Why do some people object to sex work if it is done in a manner that does not affect those who are not participating. For example the if the sex worker does not solicit, does not sell drugs to clients, does not steal, does not rob clients, does not cause disorder with the wives, etc. Where is the harm?

The word Adultery is only valid if one values his marriage and the men who visit, sex workers or have affairs, clearly do not and legally stopping them will not make them less of adulterers.

Prostitution is the oldest profession on earth, w/ good reason.
All the pioneers throughout history might have given up their cause, if not for the fearless women who followed them.

I have worked with girls who have worked in the commercial sex industry. Its not all like the image in the movie "pretty woman", However I have known some working girls do it out of choice, high income etc.
The reality of it though is that the majority of women do not really make a "informed" decision to work in the sex industry. The majority of women work to feed a habit or are forced in to it, trafficked from another country and basically used as slaves. If that's not bad enough increasing numbers of young, underage children are being forced, and yes the word forced is appropriate, in to an industry that doesn't see the "victim" because "where's the harm"

you truly won't be able to answer this devoid of thinking the religious ingredient. The argument is that marriage is designed for the objective of procreation. Being as that 2 plugs and no socket, or vice versa, can not have little ones then it really is sex only for exhilaration. This is going decrease back to Christian morality that sex might want to be gratifying yet open to procreation. no matter if it isn't open to procreation it really is in straight forward words considered fornication. also, a large style of human beings hate what they do no longer understand. there's a huge style of skepticism that gay adult males will be monogamous. enable's settle for it, women individuals ration sex so much better than adult males do. for most adult males the shop is open for agency 24-7. positioned 2 adult males jointly and now you've 40 8-14 (properly that is the stereotypical perception). So what's erroneous with gay marriage? like another overseas theory or custom, human beings purely hate what they don't realize. i believe George Clooney stated it best, "in some unspecified time sooner or later the marriage equality strive against will look as archaic as George Wallace status on the college of Alabama steps protecting James Hood from attending college because he change into black. human beings will be embarrassed to were on the incorrect area,"

I agree. That is probably why there are legal and relatively safe (disease-free) industries in places like Nevada. But, the industry needs to be regulated to keep everyone involved safe. You also only talk about things the sex worker may do to harm the client. What about the client harming the sex worker? It should be a mutually respectful arrangement.

I'm assuming that you mean prostitution when you say sex work. Personally, I have no problem with it provided it's done above board and legitimate. Heck, I'd even be a madame of a house if it were legal. ;)

People are just angry that their beliefs dont permit them to join in on the fun. Its pure jealousy and a feeling of missing out on what their own sense of guilt wont permit them to do.
Everything should be legal between two consenting adults and what they get up to in private is nobody elses Fooking business.

I visit girls who work in the sex industry. Most of them are very nice fine women only trying to make ends meet (like the rest of us). But I must admit I would never tell my wife. What she does not know will not harm her.
