This is a good directory for scholarships for international students: http://www.macquil.com/scholarships.php

You could also apply for scholarships offered solely by the colleges or universities to which you are applying - although you will find that these are very limited and extremely competitive. Your government may also have a program in place for scholarships and grants. If you have relatives in the US, you could ask them to sponsor you, or as previously mentioned, you could ask a private company to sponsor your studies.

I've found that for international students with limited financial resources one of the best option is to apply for community college, finish their associates degree, get optional practical training for a year, and save that money to complete their bachelor's at a university or 4-year college. There are also very few colleges that sponsor international students - one of these colleges in Berea College in Kentucky, which has a program for outstanding international students who are granted a full ride in exchange for community work.

Good luck!

Your superb guess would be to objective to touch some Serbian American communities in the U. S.. there are distinctive Serbians in the huge apple/NJ section. try beginning with the Serbian churches in huge apple, and carry on with the course from there. talk to human beings, and save soliciting for techniques for added human beings to talk to, until eventually you come across something that would help. It is merely no longer common. financial help of this way isn't extensively obtainable for worldwide scholars in the U. S.. however the Serbian community here is definitely tightly knit and alright organised. That'll be your superb beginning element.

Contact the schools you're interested in attending and ask them to put you in contact with the financial aid department.

You might also contact a local corporation in your area and see if they will sponsor you in return for you working for them when you are done.

There's also the fulbright scholarship and the Hubert H. Humphrey Fellowships Program
