Well, of course there's a difference - different things are happening.

Before the war, the media was telling us that at least 36,000 troops would die and that the initial war would take months to overthrow Sadam.

Today, they complain that almost 3,000 troops have been killed. And that most of the attacks occur in Bagdad. Also, they don't even show any thing good that is happening over there. No pipilene repairs, no school building, no nothing of ANYTHING positive for the American people to see.

No difference, just the media trying to turn this war into another Vietnam and the public as usual will believe it.
