Do you usually start out wearing shoes and then take them off or do you leave home barefoot ?
Do you make a conscious decision that you are going to have bare feet today ?
Do you go places specifically to go barefoot ?
......just curious as I sometimes do all of these things !

My wife and I make a conscious decicion to go barefoot. We always try and leave home barefoot especially if we're going shopping, the floors in shopping centres always feel fantastic and so many people here in Australia do the same. Lately I've been seeing a lot of people carying their shoes around, maybe barefooting is becoming more popular.

Depending on what activity I will be engaged in, yeah, sometimes I do have to start out the day wearing shoes. More typical, I will be barefoot before and after such activity. On those days, I will take appropriate footwear with me.
Conscious decision? I think it starts out that way, but over time as you become barefoot 24/7 then it reverses and you actually have to consciously thinks about footwear when needed.
When I started out as a barefooter, yeah, I remember seeking out places to go barefoot and finding excuses to go places just to be barefoot. I think it is part of the exploration process to test your own personal limits and the limits of your daily society.
I will be honest and tell you that there is usually some type of footwear in my car stashed under the seat. For just-in-case and when footwear is absolutely necessary. Sometimes you just gotta put on footwear even if you don't want to.

I'm barefoot at home all the time. And in mosques I take off my shoes.
Outdoors it depends cuz the floor might be really dirty or have broken glass on it. I've stepped on broken glass alot but I'm still bear foot half the time.

usually I start off in shoes and take them off when I feel too unsteady to walk in them! But in the summer I would rather not wear shoes at all, I never do at home anyway.

i dont go to public places barefoot if thats what you mean... but if iam my house and go outside i usually have flip flops on at one point but then loose em along the way lol.

i go bare foot all the time unless i am going out then my shoes useally end up in my hands depends where i am

I have barefeet when I decide to waste my whole day by not getting up until about 3pm.
