I'm not sure what Im having yet... I find out the day after Christmas. So far I have Tristan Ann White for a girl, and Kyle Asher White for a boy.
P.S. I am only putting the last name because it is so common.

I have met girls named Tristan, Also Ann is a sort of tradition in my family for middle names, me, my mother, my grand mother and my great grandmother all have the middle name. And Asher is Daddy's Idea, Im only going with it because it's the middle name.

I like them both. I like the uniqueness of them both. Now can you come up with some for me??? The only thing we know is that if it is a boy we want the middle name to be david. (And my first babys middle name is ann.) Congrats on the baby BTW.

What would you think about spelling Tristan a little differently for a girl? Spelled Tristan is usually considered a boy's name. Maybe Tristyn or Tristin or Tristen would give it just that little bit of femininity to show it's a girl's name. Or maybe drop the n and go with Trista. I think having a more unusual first name goes well with a more common middle name, so I like the Ann, especially since it is a family name. I think Kyle Asher is a fine name. Asher is a little more unusual and Kyle is more common. Since dad picked Asher, I'd go with it, it is always good if dad can have a hand in naming the babies, too.

Tristan does sound more like a boy's name. Just because there are girls out there with that name doesn't necessarily make it a girl's name. Gwyneth Paltrow named her daughter Apple but I don't see that catching on anytime soon. At least I hope not! I met a girl once named Tipton, which always made me think of Lipton tea. But I digress.
Asher...not diggin' it. It's also a biblical name, but apparently not a popular one. Maybe Ashton?
I can understand about the Ann tradition, but it is a very common middle name. Maybe you could start a new tradition? Or just modify the existing one with Diane or Leighann or something similar. That way, you keep the Ann part. :-)

I unlike the others LOVE Asher! Tristan for a girl.. maybe if it's spelled different. Ann, is cool if it's after someone in your family ..but it's an older name.. but your boy's name.. is cool.. Kyle.. is a little common with a unique middle name like Asher.. But I Love Asher!

Tristan is a nice name, although sounds like a boys. Don't like middle name Ann too old and boring especially with a modern first name. And yeh Asher is a bit strange. But Kyle is nice!
Good luck for finding out, hope theres no crossed legs for you.

I think both names are perfect. And I don't think there is anything wrong with using Tristan for a girl.
I have three kids, 2 boys and a girl, and their names are.
Michael Cana Smith
Liam Parrish Smith
Gwyneth Parker Smith

I agree, Tristan is not a girls name. It would make a great guy's name however. I was considering if I have a boy, I would name him Tristan after my friend that died in a car accident.

My neigbor's son is named Tristan...so wouldn't agree to name your daughter that...
How about...Jayden or Neveah (Heaven backwards) for a girl.
I'm not so sure about Kyle for a boy...its so common. Asher sounds unique...I would stick with that one. But not the best name yet.
This is just my opinion. Hope it helps.
