Yes some get offended at the word "bum" and say they dig in the trash because they have nothing. Well, to some of them, that is their choice. Their choice to not hold a job and do drugs and become alcoholics. There are many programs available to help people out. Im not going to pay for peoples crack habits.

Many of the "bums" on the streets were cast out of mental hospitals and group homes when Ronald Reagan decided they weren't necessary. These people simply weren't able to care for themselves, but Reagan didn't care and he chose to damn these people. It is fact.

You are very ignorant. Some people got hurt at work and were denied Workers Compensations and cannot work. Insurance companies do not pay just because you have insurance. Grow up. And not all people have family for support.

drugs are hard to get off of. also-divorces cause many people to lose it! some people think its easier to fail.
