It's possible; but the best thing to do in this situation would be to consult a doctor. When your baby's health could be at stake, I don't think it would be wise to rely only on the words of some strangers on the internet.

And--obviously--don't do it anymore.

Don't panic. There's nothing you can do to change what's already done, but you can take steps to make your pregnancy healthy from this point on. While what happened could potentially be dangerous to your baby, the most important thing is that you get help as soon as possible. Not only is early prenatal care good for your baby, but you may need help to deal with your depression. If you are not already seeing a doctor, see one immediately. If you don't have a doctor, you can call your local health department and they can help you. Do not wait. You need to be taking vitamins and doing everything you can from this point on to help your baby (and you) be healthy.

Good luck with your baby, and don't worry. The worry can do just as much harm.

First of all...get the pills that you took and get the instructions from the. Most say if you can or cant take them if you are pregnant.Second..go to the doctor and check the baby.8 pills different are too much. They could affect you and the baby.Watch out in the future.Good luck

yes it could affect the baby!! The first trimester is a very important developmental stage. Make sure you are getting prenantal care and be honest with your dr...tell him/her everything you have done. Unfortanetly whatever damage was done isnt going to be fixable but it will make a difference to stop the pill popping. Good luck and if you're having this baby you need to start thinking about it's needs not yours.

the most important time in a babys growth is in the first trimester.however most women dont even know they are pregnant at 6 weeks and they do all kinds of things like drugs and drinking because they dont know!!however you do know which concerns me a bit.you need to talk to a doc about your problems so it doesnt happen again!!you need to be specific in what kind of pills you took cause tylenol is fine but oxycodin is not.talk to your doc about the effects.just try to stay positive and put the baby first and you will get through this trust me!!i got pregnant at a real young age and its scary but you can do it!!good luck

Any and every thing you put into your body affects your baby be it good or bad. You must decide if you really want your baby it's a huge responsibility not to be taken lightly. One can no longer be selfish when you are pregnant your life if more than just about you now. Please go see a doctor or even you can go to your local free clinic.

see a doctor. no one here can answer questions about the health of the baby you are carrying.

you obviously need some help, so try to get some counseling. can you get counseling at school? is there a teacher or parent you can trust? you are obviously crying out for help. please don't do anything to hurt yourself.

you can also call a crisis hotline. you can find them in the blue pages of your phone book.

Yes, it could. You should go to Planned Parenthood or a local county clinic and get pregnancy counseling, they will give you all your options and get you started on things like prenatal vitamins and a healthy diet.
