I have a Dell Laptop XPS system, and I've had it for like 6 months now. I love it and I've never had any problems with it. The specs you typed above are pretty similiar to what I bought mine at and I paid $882.00 (total). To me, sounds like a good deal. 120GB hard drive is great as well.

This HP 17-1181NR is an impressive, do-something workstation. i take advantage of it customarily to run AutoCAD shape for my small company. i wanted a workstation to customarily functionality as an added laptop yet that i could take with me, if i desired to artwork from the line. it particularly is a known workstation and heavy. Be arranged. It exchange into additionally somewhat confusing looking a workstation case to deal with the size. on the upside, it particularly is barely as rapid as my laptop working some enormously heavy courses, the pics are wonderful. I in no way experience like i'm working from a workstation. the extensive reveal helps me to artwork effectively. I had study many comments that suggested how warm the unit runs and so i offered a workstation fan to kick back it on. A valuable investment.

Laptop prices are like the stock market. They fluctuate and you really need to watch them to get a good deal. A very similar computer sold for $500 just several days ago.

To help you with your research, go to http://www.slickdeals.net/ or http://www.gotapex.com/ and visit everyday. You will save a bunch of money. Everybody wants you to have their laptop this year. A similar one sold for $249 (no rebates) on Black Friday.

Sounds pretty good to me, and Dell is a reputable seller. I had a friend by one cheap off of ebay and he got totally screwed and ended up losing almost all his money.
