It is Second Life, and it's not a scam in the sense that it is illegal. The system itself is legitimate, but like everything else you will have to spend money and invest in the system before you ever see any return. Plus, you are buying and selling virtual property and items for the equivalent of real world money. If you are comfortable with that concept then check it out.

Please do not fall for Internet scams. If Some one really wanted to give money away they wouldn't ask for credit card info or your bank account. Please do not let them bleed you dry.
