help on a science fiction short story?

i have to write a short 7 pages typed science fiction story i just need a little boost to get it starting i want to have a story with a good moral but what i am having trouble with the science fiction problem and content any help?

I find an excellent way to start is this:

Ask yourself "What If..."

Take any situation you see in the world today, and ask what if

The roles were reversed?
technology went too far?

Questions like that. Hope that helps.
