Where do flies live? Do they have a kind of home, such as bees, where they can rest? Or do they just rest anywhere. Further more, why don't flies and bees appear at night?

Flies hatch, usually from maggots feeding on something dead and then they head off in search of another host - dead thing - to lay eggs and the cycle keeps going round.

No, they don't have a home...they just rest anywhere.

For the most part, they just hang out at night and don't fly around...That's just the way they are.
