well there are the e-games and the g-potato games. these are two companies that create free online games. these are the games they make:
flyff (kind of childish)
space cowboy (a space age shooter)
rappelz ( classic mmorpg includes knights, wizards, etc.)
ran online (takes place in college. it has a street gang aspect)
knight online ( kind of like WOW)
supreme destiny (similar to knight online but more of a tribal game)
out of these i enjoy ran online, knight online, rappelz and space cowboy.
check my sources for the actually site names.

Um i have done runescape, but on myspace people to RPG for random characters. Its very much different but still a lot of fun, you kinda have to get into it to make it work. Just make an e-mail and myspace for any random character or make something up and just join right in. I'm currently Samwise Gamgee.... yes i know geeky but you like RPG so i asume you don't care lol

Are we talking free??..I really like MUOnline.com but its really hard to level your character..so i always played on darksideofmu.com so I can experience the whole game without playing for a decade..but its not really really easy either..nice game..Also there is World of Warcraft, Everquest, City of heros, City of Villans (i like that one better), and Star Wars Galaxies and Matrix Online which are about $14.99/mo to play and there is Guildwars which is $20 for the game and no monthly fee. I am currently still playing World of Warcraft. Its my favorite still unfortunately.

DragonFable (dragonfable.com) isn't bad, but it isn't really an MMORPG, though it does have some PvP.
