Brilliant idea, look how great Iraq is doing with one of the largest police forces in the world! Have some sense, nothing would ever get accomplished, it would be warlord rule, and then a dictatorship.

Who would enforce the laws if there were no police? It's like tossing a bag of marbles at someone and say here play this game....well what game what are the rules what happens if I win etc etc....if we live in a world of rules and laws then there must be someone to enforce them and in order to enforce them the person(s) must carry the authority to punish if those rules and laws are broken....without police it would be horrible.

Definately no.There are some decent honest cops.Although they are in the minority.I do believe though that we need to rid the departments of many of the police officers that are caught lying repeatedly.

The world would be a terrible place to live with no police.There would be no consequences for bad behaviour. No laws. People would be righting there own wrongs. It would be anarchy.

Gangs and mobs would rule, stores would be looted, houses taken away from people maybe yours. No bad idea. Only the thin blue line protects us from these things.

You will find your answer in the Central African Republic...There is no law, no government....Why not go on a pilgrimage there and share your insights with the rest of the world.....That is if you ever come back......

no, it would not...things would be out of control very quickly...i do believe that the police are our friends, and here to help us....if you meet a bad one, you will meet 10 wonderful ones. they are the first call i would make if i needed help.,
