I have a feeling I have lost a bit of my life. Sunday afternoon, Pick of the Pops and Alan Freeman in his pre-Fluff days introduced me to the Shadows, the Beatles and later the early rockers. He was as much as part of Sunday as Kenneth Horne, The Clitheroe Kid, and Two Way Forces Family Favourites. As far as being a good DJ, I am not sure, but he was certainly a personality I will always associate with my early years.
