i have to write a short 7 pages typed science fiction story i just need a little boost to get it starting i want to have a story with a good moral but what i am having trouble with the science fiction problem and content any help?

You could take a basic story idea that you have and add science fiction elements to it - certain inventions, ways of life, etc. It doesn't have to be on a space ship or another planet.

Science fiction doesn't need to be about weird adventions or horrid monsters. It can be about another realm, (for instance, one that is all birds) or just about people who find something extrondary (like a carbonated drink with no bubbles! *sorry, had to add it.*)

Set it in a futuristic totalitarian society - that's classic. Either that or make the main characters robots or space explorers and use them to exemplify your desired themes. Sorry, Sci-Fi isn't my forte.
