I have a 2004 Dodge Stratus and earlier this year I got the engine replaced. When I take my foot off the break it makes a clicking sound and when I make a turn it kind of makes a grinding, grumbling sound. what could this be?

Clicking or grinding when turning is almost ALWAYS a bad CV joint. Not a big deal to replace.

sounds like an inner problem. As with laptops, its best to take it to a professional. If its something straight forward, you're able to get it fastened for loose. attempt the help desks at best purchase and Circuit city. bypass late at evening and be truly effective. If there are not any shoppers, the tech would fix it on spot. As for yet another style of ticking problem -- pay attention the hunt canines once you do a record seek for. I saved listening to this clicking noise in certain cases and not in any respect might want to figure it out. the placement change into the hunt canines ---scratching his ear waiting for a reaction--- genuine tale.

It might be the CV joints in the front axles.

You should always include the mileage when you ask questions as some problems are much more likely at certain mileage.

The most likely thing is a bad wheel bearing on a front wheel. The other possibility is that a brake caliper may be loose. In either cse you need to check it as soon as you can.

Check the brakes thoroughly before you condemn the cv joint. It sounds like it does not make the noise while braking, which could mean warped rotor or loose pads..
