Since Rahul Dravid will not be playing, the ideal replacement for him will be Laxman as he is a solid batsman with sound technique and defence as compared to Ganguly as what the need of the team is to consolidate the innings in the middle order.

A fresh selection is made after deciding criteria for selection for each post. For example DRAVID WILL MAKE 10 - 63 RUNS IN 108 BALLS, It is equivalent to 30 - 160 runs in 50 overs. Such negative play to be retained in the team can make individual statistics good, BUT INDIA CAN NEVER WIN.

They are good for test but not for ODI.

I AM SURE INDIA WILL WIN AGAINST ANY TEAM IN THE WORLD.

i dont understand why everybody thinks that bringing Ganguly back will suddenly help the Indians win...he wasnt that gud of a player! The rest of the team are just as gud!
