Mine was the blizzard of 79, i was a junior in high school and school was cancelled for like a week-that was sweet!
Me and my best girlfriend were over some friends house drinking beer and playing cards>>when we had to (umm..) pee, we just did it outside in the blizzard!! GOOD TIMES!!
Kids don't drink until you are of legal age...

When I was about 10 years old, school was canceled due to snow. We went outside to play in it and there were these HUGE drifts behind our house. We decided to dig in the drifts and make forts. We ended up with a whole village. It was fantastic! A couple days later, the sun came out and the village roofs collapsed. We never had drifts quite like that again.

I was in a blizzard in 1979 too I think. (in Albuquerque, New Mexico). We lived in an apartment building on the second floor. The wind was so strong that my neighbor's window was blown in (and they came and spent the night with us). The next morning we started to go outside to see the snow. The wind had blown the apt bldg door open and snow had blown all the way up the stairs to the second floor! It was AWESOME!

once I went to Dairy Queen And got and Oreo cookie blizzard and held it upside down like on the commercials and wow it didn't spill
