No, but if you are testing before your expected period the reading would be most accurate with your first morning urine because you have the highest levels of pregnancy hormone in that sample. Good luck!

pregnant is pregnant no matter if it's at night or four 0' clock in the morning your body doesn't lie. the only thing i would recommend is . If you don't want to go to a doctor because of embarrassment or for whatever reason . Make sure that if you get a home pregnancy test from the store be sure to get one that says doctor recommended so you won't have to keep retaking the test and wasting your time and money .And so you can be at ease with your results .That way you can have some clarity and there won't be anymore room for doubt.

It's not a hard and fast rule that one must take a pregnancy test with one's first morning urine, but it is advisable because there is a higher concentration of the pregnancy hormone HcG in it. Make sure to thoroughly read the instructions of your particular pregnancy test.

You don't necessarily have to take it first thing in the morning but if you do then your results will be more accurate because hcg levels peak in the morning and that's what is detected in the urine by the pregnancy test.

The first morning urine is the most concentrated. But most test will work anytime of day. If you get results you are unsure of then re-test in the morning.

You can take it anytime - but morning is good because the proteins in your urine will be more concentrated because you won't have had anything to drink or peed while you were sleeping.

No you dont have to! They say that because you have been holding it all night! But if there is HCG then there is HCG. You can do the same by not drinking anyhting and holding it for 4 hours but no need for that either!
