I am on Birth Control and we use condoms so i know i am not pregant but i have not had a period since my son was born he is 4 months old ,i was told sometimes you don't have a period while breastfeeding is that true?

Yes that is very true. When I had my daughter I brestfed for 9 months and I didn't have my period until then. You will sometimes spot. But You should get you period when you slow down on feeding your baby!!

Yes. With my son, I didn't get a period until 2 months after I stopped breastfeeding.

But with my daughter, I got a period when she was 3 months old, even though I was breastfeeding. So it happened both ways with me.

Yes, that's just another benefit of breastfeeding!! It's not a guarantee though, and it only applies if you are nursing exclusively - with my first, my periods didn't start until she was 11 months - with my second, they didn't start for 20 months!! (I was not only nursing him but donating milk for a friend who'd adopted). Good luck!

Yes this is true. But you can still get pregnant.
