okay we just had our secong child...and it is my turn to name the baby. so i picked "bubba" after my grandfather. and now my wife is all upset and offended because she doesn't want that name (for our daughter). but i dont see the big deal??? i didn't care what name she chose last time. why she tryin to rain on my parade?? what's in a name anyways?? all i care is if the baby is happy healthy. i feel she is being unreasonable. am i wrong?

Compramise, have bubba as her second name, but jus call her that as her nik name as she grows up, but have it something more "sensible" on paper, lyk Naima, or Laura, or sasha, or Niomie...If u need help naming her i'll help...
PS...if u dont care wats shes named why u throwing ur toys outta ur pram?

What woman would want her daughter named Bubba. You've got to be kidding. Bubba is good for a nickname or a petname, but the name Bubba sucks as a real name. Lucky she got her way, or else the kid would have grown up hating you.
You ask "What's in a name?" So next time call your son Frankenstein or Hitler or something like tht.
