Their is absolutely no reason for you to get pregnant, unless you want to, their is to much on the market to prevent it, their is absolutely no reason and no excuse for pregnancy these days, people that say oh my contraceptive didn't work is bullshit. Even if you don't have money planned parent hood will help you, and you can find out the age of consent in your area on your PC. 17 is way to young to get pregnant anyway, it will ruin your youth wait until you are at least 20, have fun now be a teenager and do the fun things teens do. And your boyfriend is also to young, men mature much slower than women, at 20 he is still a teenager in his mind. So STOP and make sure you will not get pregnant at this age no matter if it is legal or not. Believe me if you have ever listened to your elders now is the time to listen and take the advice your elders are giving you. Keep those legs crossed, if you don't have birth control. I doubt you will find someone that is older that would recommend pregnancy at this age. Listen listen listen.

In most states your boyfriend having sex with you is illegal since you are under the age of consent, 18. The law says that you can not consent to have sex with a man over 18 because are too young. He would be treated as a sex offender against a minor child, you. He would go to jail and would have to report where he lives as a sex offender for the rest of his life. This is not a nice thing to happen to a couple in love, but it is the cold hard facts of life. You getting pregnant is not relevant.

If you are having sex with your b/f and you are both in love and would like to spend the rest of your life together, get married now.

I know there are a lot of young men who have underage girlfriends and have sex with them. That does not change the law. Horrific "****" happens to the guy if he gets caught.

Either stop having sex or get married because you are doing him a deservice.

Been there done that many long years ago.

nicely at the beginning, i'm happy with you for making a decision to no longer abort. Secondly, I checked some places and the regulation bearing directly to age of consent varies from place to place. the place I stay, a individual can't be extra desirable than 2 years older than you in case you're a undeniable age (in particular 10 to 17) even no be counted if that's consentual. regardless of the undeniable fact that, if the older individual interior the relationship honestly did no longer understand the age of the extra youthful it isn't any longer against the regulation. I stress that honestly bit because of the fact is a very wonderful line. returned, it is the regulation from my section, i've got considered criminal age adjustments as much as 4 years (with an common of three) in my learn so i could circulate on line and make certain. As for the potential injury your father would desire to inflict on you, toddler abuse is against the regulation so if he does injury you(with any luck no longer) you will desire to checklist it to the government. He can legally kick you out, yet once you're saying his reaction would be that undesirable according to probability you will desire to provide him some area in any case. ultimately no, i don't have faith he can threaten you into aborting, i'm very almost postive that's a decision to be made in basic terms by using you and the father. this occasion is relatively mushy on your boyfriend good now because of the fact he may well be charged reckoning on the place you reside so i could circulate on line, circulate to the library or something to make absolute particular of the regulations bearing directly to underage intercourse and being pregnant. in my view he would be ok, and not be charged.be sure you provide serious theory to all your recommendations when you provide start and exceptionally, be careful and robust luck costly.

Your boyfriend can go to jail since it's statutory rape under Wisconsin state law. You need to stop having sex until you turn 18 because you're jail bait at 17.

It depends. First, please don't get pregnant..........I had a baby at 17, don't recommend it.

What matters is who isn't happy about it. The police won't come looking for you unless someone tells them too. So if your mother is p**sed about it - and she sends them after him, he will get arrested. But if no one cares that he's 20 then it won't matter. And it will also matter when you are going to turn 18. The sooner the better.

If the age of consent is 18, he could be arrested for statutory rape. And they don't need you to press charges for that.
If the age of consent is 17, then nothing can happen.

They will arrest him for statutory rape and you won't see him for a while because he'll be in jail. That means you'll be all by yourself with the baby until he gets out. I would wait until your 18. Why would you want to risk getting your boyfriend in trouble?

legal age to engage in sexual intercourse is actually 14 however because you are still a minor, i would not consider getting pregnant until you are 18 so until then use protection
