My guess is by articles that you mean writing and not clothing. If this is correct, then you need to do a bit of legwork. No media outlet whether online or off actively pursues new talent by looking through sites. You will need to find them or make yourself noticeable enough for someone to recommend you.

To pursue them, find sites that meet with your message. If you're writing fiction, find fiction sites. All sites allow submissions. One of my clients, Rake Magazine in Minneapolis (http://www.rakemag.com) posts submission guidelines and ways to submit on their site. Follow these guidelines and submit. Remember that what may not be right for one publication may be exactly what another is looking for. Submit to many and you you will find that your voice matches with what someone is looking for.

To get some attention yourself, start a blog. Google's acquisition of Blogger (http://www.blogger.com) has given a great deal of space to bloggers and the ability to create one for free. This offers the added advantage of honing your skills and craft on a daily basis. Just find a voice that works for you and write.

Good luck.

Building your own website would be the best to sell your articles. There are a lot of free webhostings in the internet. Yahoo/geocities for instance hosts different communities for free.
