Some people say Vampires are real, others say they do not believe in them.

Some say Werewolves are real, others say they do not believe in them.

Through out history, there has been numbers of people saying they have seen these two things. But they get called crazy and sent away or locked up for a very long time. But it true, vampires where real back then and there real now. Same as for werewolves, real then, real now. There had been number of cases where some ones ether been drained dry of there blood supply or ripped apart by something.

Me personally, I believe in bother vampires and werewolves.

But my question is, if one can be proved why cant they other? It was proved in the old days why cant it be proved now?

Proof to me would be.... photos, film, scientific analysis...

Vampires do not show on mirrors, they do show how ever in a photo and on film.

Yea yea yea, your going to say I'm lying, you don't know me, you don't know if I'm telling the truth or lying?

"If one can be proven then why not the other?" Well, because you're trying to prove two different things. One being proven does not serve as automatic proof for the other--you need solid evidence for both. And it's possible that evidence could be much harder to find for one thing than the other.

As for "if it could be proven then, why not now"... There are much higher expectations these days for what counts as decisive evidence. And I don't remember it being proven in the past. Do you have a source for that statement?

Well.. it wasn't exactly "proven" in the old days either, but more people were willing to believe their eyes and the eyes of their neighbors. Different things constitute "proof" nowadays too... photos, film, scientific analysis, bits in jars, DNA etc.

Or... more likely, people who would once have been known as werewolves or vampires still exist but what they are has been so distorted by the verbal passing on of stories and movies and fiction and what they really are isn't even recognisable. Look what they've done to witches.

What would proof be to you? Could someone who prefers their steak very rare be werewolf? Could her friend having the steak tar-tare be a vampire? Why not?

I believe in both.
But proving the existence of anything that doesn't seem quite "normal" or "acceptable" to society will ALWAYS be hard.
There is a large number of people who are terrified of the unknown, or the truly powerful and amazing. They cannot accept such things. And because the number of people like that are more than the number of people who believe in such things, the minority is crushed, or told to keep quiet and focus on their dull lives.
Depressing and disappointing, isn't it?

Vampires and warewolves are about as real as fairies. Now show me one, and I will believe. I hear of UFO's and ghosts. That's different. Never seen anything close to proof of Vampires or Warewolves. Thats just my opinion, and I admit I just haven't had any knowledge of it.
I have known people that have been really interested though.

I believe in them too, I need no proof because wherewolves are sneaky, and vampires cannot be photographed.

Because it wasn't proven. I don't understand where you're getting that idea.

may be because of medical illness or improper burial practices.
