Put some Dettol ( http://www.dettol.co.uk/) if u think u need to know more..........Well this is a medicinal disinfectant and also has a very pleasing smell to it it will most definately curb the chemical smell left on ur jacket if u soak the Jacket in ( Dettol + water ) or anything similar to Dettol for say 2 hrs and then rinse it off in gentle cycle if u fear u can always put ur jacket in a cloth bag or else wrap the jacket in thin cotton cloth and then rinse it off in gentle cycle it shud most definately keep ur jacket in good condition but definately to take off the chemical odour use diluted dettol of similar solution which has a pleasing odour.

The tender cycle **could** artwork. regrettably, you could basically locate out the annoying way in the event that they are in a position to't be washed in a device. when I placed on hand cleanable stuff, I placed them directly to circulate out for a particular adventure like a social gathering then take them off as quickly as i'm getting domicile. If I easily have basically worn something for some hours as a substitute of a finished day, then i will hose it down with Febreze and placed on it returned sometime.

If it is down filled it has to be dry cleaned. The chemical smell will fade if you take it out of the plastic as soon as you get it home and let it air out for a few days.

You should be able to wash it at home. You can just use regular Purex.
